Pine Rest

Pine Rest is an individual oceanfront cottage. It can comfortably accommodate 2-5 guests. On the west side of the building facing the ocean, there is a sundeck with a bench, patio furniture, and glass wind breaks. Inside, it has two bedrooms, one on each end of the cottage, separate by the living room and adjoined living room,. The ocean view can be enjoyed from every room in Pine Rest (aside from the bathroom and hallway closet)!

The North bedroom has a king bed, closet space, a dresser, and a large sliding glass door leading onto a very small private deck, separate from the rest of the cottage. The bathroom and hallway closet are net to this bedroom.

The South bedroom features a queen bed and a twin captain’s bed. There is also a door on the northwest side of this bedroom (which we refer to as the annex in our rate sheet).

There isn’t really anything interesting in the hallway closet (it does have space though, which might be interesting). The bathroom has a bathtub-shower combo, a toilet, and sink. There is also a little nook containing a wicker hamper and additional racks for towels.

The kitchen has general amenities of your typical kitchen. It gets a lot of sunlight in the morning and afternoon. What we think sets it apart from the typical kitchen is that you can turn around from the counter space to look out of a large picture frame window onto the beach/ocean through the living room.

Speaking of the living room. It’s pretty great, and it’s the first thing you’ll experience when walking into Pine Rest. Opposite the entrance there is a sliding glass door leading to a spacious sun deck. The living room features an electric fireplace. In a nook next to the fireplace, there is a small study. There is a love seat, arm chair, and sofa oriented for viewing the ocean and/or the TV.

Currently, the base nightly rate for 2 people staying 4 nights in Pine Rest without the annex during the peak season is $450.00 a night + 13.5% tax. Discounts apply for stays longer than 4-nights. If you are interested in Pine Rest or any of our other cottages, feel free to make an inquiry.
